About The Position

Ventrac is seeking a Robotic Welder for their 1st shift operations. This role involves operating both robotic and hand welders, including wire-fed MIG/Pulse welders, to produce accurate weldments and assemblies according to schematics and drawings. The position requires setting up jobs by selecting appropriate fixtures, weld patterns, components, programs, and tooling. The work hours are from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a wage of $20-24/hr based on skillset.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent school with relevant work experience
• Minimum 1-3 years of welding training/experience
• Maintain high safety standards and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. regularly and bend, squat, walk or stand for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

• 3+ years of welding experience
• Experience operating robotic welders

Responsibilities

• Operate a welding robot and/or perform hand welding to produce accurate weldments/assemblies
• Read and conform to schematics, drawings and other work instructions
• Set up jobs by selecting appropriate fixtures, weld patterns, components, programs, tooling, etc.
