About The Position
A Robotic Welder is responsible for executing accurate welding of various materials and thickness to fit the specifications of our customers.
Requirements
- Proficient ability in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints
- Welding experience or trade school welding program required
- Successful complete of an in-house weld test
- Ability to read tape measure accurately
- Great work ethic and attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- High school diploma or GED required
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate welding equipment
- Troubleshoot robotic welding systems, controllers, sensors, and peripheral equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on welding robots and tooling
- Monitor weld quality and adjust to improve performance and consistency
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
- Develop and optimize robotic welding programs to improve productivity and reduce scrap
- Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and quality records
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on Safety, 5S, efficiency, quality, and cost reductions
- Ensure work meets quality standards
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Additional duties as assigned
