About The Position

Our Robotic Weld team is responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining robotic welding systems to ensure the efficient and accurate production of welded components. This role requires a strong understanding of welding processes, robotic programming, and quality control.

Requirements

Previous experience with robotic welding systems and welding processes.
Proficiency in programming and operating robotic welding equipment.
Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Certification in welding technology or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate robotic welding machines and equipment.
Program robotic welders to produce parts according to specifications.
Adjust welding parameters to optimize weld quality and production efficiency.
Prepare and position parts for welding, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
Load and unload parts from welding fixtures and jigs.
Perform fixture and tool changes as required.
Inspect welded parts for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Perform destructive and non-destructive testing to verify weld integrity.
Document inspection results and maintain quality records.
Perform routine maintenance on robotic welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
Work with maintenance personnel to resolve complex equipment issues.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of welding processes, production output, and equipment maintenance.
Report any deviations from standard procedures or quality issues to the supervisor.
Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for robotic welding processes.
Identify and report quality, material, or equipment issues to supervisors.
Meet daily production goals while maintaining high workmanship standards.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.
