About The Position

Prince Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a full-time 2nd Shift Robotic CNC Operator for their North Sioux City, SD location. This role involves continuous learning of manufacturing processes, with no prior experience necessary as on-the-job training will be provided. The facility is air-conditioned. The position requires flexibility to float between departments and tasks based on production needs. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, with 4 10-hour shifts. Training will occur during the day for approximately six months.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must have a high-school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a great attendance record and the ability to show up.
• Must have basic computer skills including operation of a mouse and keyboard.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds and have strong grip strength.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to use tools will be extremely helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test products.
• Set-up and operate CNC machines.
• Measure, examine, and test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments.
• Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition.
• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, work instructions, and/or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerance of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using various measuring instruments.
• Record quantity and date in identification tags.
• Count and pick quantities of parts per order requirements.
• Organize and maintain storage of parts for the packing area.
• Use office equipment, weigh-count scales, plastic bags, and heat sealers.
• Regularly use a computer to fill orders and update production and inventory records.
• Create and maintain lot tracking information and store inventory in proper locations.
• Generate needed production paperwork and/or labels.
• Meet agreed-upon company and department goals in a timely manner.
• Follow safety rules and keep the work area clean and in an orderly condition.
• Sweep, scrub, and wipe down equipment and floors in the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

• Pay: $21-$28 DOE with regular evaluations and benefits
• Shift Premium $2.00 when moved to 2nd Shift
