About The Position

The Robotic Weld Operator will safely run production machines as assigned while maintaining the quality of the parts. This role involves running assigned jobs at the required production rate, completing necessary documentation for quality, production, downtime, rework, and scrap. The operator must ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements, including correct labeling and reporting, and adhere to all safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements in the workplace. This position requires the ability to read, interpret, and carry out work instructions, and the operator is responsible for any defective product produced. Collaboration with team members to achieve production and company goals is essential, as is the immediate reporting of safety issues to supervisors or management. The operator must understand and be able to communicate the company's quality policy, conduct corrective actions, and perform problem-solving to resolve issues. Additionally, the role involves working on and learning to operate a variety of machines or activities as assigned, and a willingness to train and learn new skillsets and concepts to achieve company goals.

Requirements

  • Experienced running production machinery.
  • Familiar with quality verification methods and measuring devices.

Nice To Haves

  • Robotic welding experience preferred.
  • GMAW welding background preferred.
  • Hand welding training or certification preferred.
  • Hilo license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance to manufacturing requirements such as correct labelling/tagging and correct reporting.
  • Ensure safety and PPE requirements are met in the workplace.
  • Read, interpret, and properly carry out work instructions.
  • Be responsible for and held accountable for defective product produced.
  • Work well with team members to achieve production and company goals.
  • Report safety issues immediately to supervisor and/or management staff.
  • Understand and be able to communicate company quality policy.
  • Conduct corrective action and perform problem solving to resolve issues.
  • Work on and learn to operate a variety of machines or activities as assigned.
  • Be willing to train and learn new skillsets and concepts to achieve company goals.
