About The Position

The robotic weld associate position is responsible for operating, maintaining and trouble-shooting welding robots for all phases of production. The position communicates with co-workers, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate robotic welders at or above established quality and efficiency standards
  • Produce weld quality consistently that meet quality standards within job schedule
  • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety by completing preventive maintenance per established schedules
  • Collaborate with Engineering I Quality Department personnel in testing and evaluating welding equipment, metals, fixtures, methods and processes
  • Inspect welding products to ensure accuracy and discover flaws
  • Train other personnel on operating robotic system program
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
  • Communicate with other departments as necessary
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Adhere to all company rules and policies
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor
