About The Position

This position is for a Robot Welder on the 2nd shift. The role involves operating robotic welding equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring product quality through inspection and adherence to standards. The work environment is a metal fabrication machine shop, which can be noisy and hot during summer months. The job requires punctuality, good communication, and the ability to use various tools and equipment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to operator cranes, overhead hoists
Ability to use quality inspection equipment
Proficient and basic math and computer skills
Ability to pass eye exam
Proficient communication skills

Responsibilities

Follow safety and environmental procedures
Come to work everyday, on time as scheduled
Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts
Examine welds and unload parts to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product quality
Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system
Load, setup, operate robotic welding equipment
Perform basic preventative maintenance and repair and setup to keep robotic welder running smoothly and reduce downtime
Examine weld during welding process; observe problems with the weld and adjust the speed, voltage, amperage, or feed of the wire or rod
Execute scheduling board
Ability to use motorized walking stacker
