Robot Weld Operator - 1st Shift
About The Position
Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is hiring a Robot Weld Operator to operate robots according to job guidelines in an efficient, productive, and safe manner. The role involves monitoring robotic equipment, setting up and breaking down jobs, handling parts and fixtures, checking product quality, and supporting rework and equipment inspection activities. The position follows a 4/10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The stated starting pay is $23.00–$27.25 based on experience; the detailed compensation information gives a base wage range of $23.00–$27.88 per hour, with overtime eligibility and potential production bonuses based on performance and specified criteria.
Requirements
- Manufacturing environment experience is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds rarely.
- Ability to push and pull up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, twist or turn, reach overhead, reach and lift with outstretched arms, and grasp tools as necessary.
- Ability to operate a cart caddy and hoist.

Responsibilities
- Operate robots and monitor them while running.
- Set up and tear down jobs by loading and unloading fixtures.
- Load and unload parts and perform visual quality inspections.
- Ensure weld quality and remove weld spatter with a chisel and/or grinder as necessary.
- Tag completed rework jobs appropriately.
- Perform daily equipment inspections.
- Advise a supervisor or lead about shortages or poor-quality materials or products.
- Operate a cart caddy and hoist.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
