Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts.
  • Meticulous attention to detail when performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Proficient computer skill with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to function as part of a team, willing to be multi-trained and maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong technical aptitude with a focus on robotics, automation, and mechatronics.
  • 1 year of Fanuc robot programming and operation
  • AGV programming and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with robotic systems, automated assembly tooling, AGVs and AGCs including mechanical, electrical, and programming problems and work with manufacturers to resolve these issues.
  • Write, modify, and debug Fanuc robot programs to meet production requirements and improve efficiency.
  • Work with the maintenance team to conduct repairs on Fanuc robots as needed, including replacing parts and components.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications.
  • Work closely with MEs and Production staff to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Provide basic operation/troubleshoot training to line technicians, Planners and MEs.
