About The Position

The Robot Operator role is to set up and operate a robotic welder to meet or exceed customer specs by reading blueprints, create parts and assemblies that meet or exceed customer and productivity requirements. Must be highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. Requirements

• Welding knowledge and or welding employment experience
• Knowledge of 6S
• Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs
• Must be able to position welding apparatus in any position the work requires
• Position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
• PHYSICAL WELD TESTING ON SITE MUST BE ACCEPTABLE

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility preferred

Responsibilities

• Locate and ensure correct material is delivered to work center
• Learn and apply robot procedures
• Learn to implement safety policies and procedures
• Learn to follow a WPS
• Ensure machine is working properly
• Ensure appropriate nesting program is delivered to work center
• Ensure nesting program matches print with work order
• Ensure that the correct gas, speed and consumables are applied correctly
• Accurately project completion of work orders at work center
• Ensure jobs are staged correctly after completion
• Other duties as assigned
