About The Position

The Robot Operator operates robotic palletizing equipment and coordinates palletizing in the robot/carousel area. The role is a permanent, full-time position on the second shift, Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed. Overtime may be available depending on business needs.

Requirements

High school education or GED equivalent.
1–2 years of experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and write in English and perform routine math equations.
Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to problems or changes.
Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
Good manual dexterity.
Ability to keep accurate and legible records.
Ability to use the iMake computer system.
Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per day.
Ability to routinely lift up to 70 pounds from waist to chest level.
Ability to bend, stoop, stand, or walk throughout the shift.
Ability to work overtime, weekends, and other shifts when necessary.

Responsibilities

Prepare the palletizing area for daily work and ensure needed materials are ready and staged around the carousel area.
Request needed materials from Utility or the Supervisor.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow all safety, health, and Company policies.
Initial, date, and maintain Company paperwork as required by GMP or the Quality Control department.
Verify iMake label information and ensure labels are correct, readable, printed, and placed on the correct pallets.
Use a forklift and manual floor jack.
Qualify as a backup Utility.
Interpret pallets or load patterns from a computer.
Operate the stretch wrapper and robotic palletizing equipment.
Perform positive release of finished-goods pallets using the iMake computer system.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead or Line Supervisor.
