About The Position

This is an entry level position with potential to move into a Night Selector position. The primary responsibility is to wrap all outbound orders in designated loading zones in compliance with company procedures and standards. This ensures drivers have product safely stowed and organized for maximum efficiency during deliveries. The role also involves maintaining a clean work area, assisting loaders by unloading trailers, and ensuring the Robo wrappers are clean and in good operational condition.

Requirements

Must be able to operate a pallet jack.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to read batch labels.
Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Must be team oriented and able to get along with others.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
A minimum of one-year warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Wrap all outbound orders in designated loading zones according to company procedures and standards.
Build pallets according to preferred methods and wrap them from bottom to top to avoid damage during transport.
Notify a supervisor of any issues.
Complete work in a productive and timely manner, keeping pallets wrapped according to dispatch times.
Verify header labels are in the upper right-hand corner for easy location by loaders.
Ensure the work area is free of debris at all times.
Assist loaders by unloading trailers staged in doors, removing pallets, blankets, straps, and debris.
Raise doors, lock trailers to docks, and lower dock plates.
Ensure Robo wrappers are clean and in good operational condition.
Prevent excess shrink wrap buildup around the guide wheel.
Do not use a box cutter to cut shrink wrap from rollers.
Do not place stickers on any part of the equipment.
Wipe down equipment at the end of each shift.
Follow all safety work practices and maintain a clean and orderly dock area.
