About The Position

As our Roadway Design Technical Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering complex roadway projects across Georgia while helping develop the next generation of engineering talent. This hybrid position offers flexibility to balance in-office collaboration at our Atlanta office with remote work.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license
7+ years of roadway engineering experience
Proficiency in MicroStation
Strong knowledge of roadway design principles, engineering standards, and industry best practices
A collaborative mindset and passion for mentoring, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional work

Nice To Haves

Open Roads Designer experience strongly preferred
Experience with GDOT projects preferred

Responsibilities

Lead the technical delivery of roadway design projects, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry and client standards
Mentor and develop engineers, helping build technical expertise across the Georgia roadway team
Guide project teams in selecting appropriate design approaches, analyses, software tools, and engineering solutions
Collaborate with project managers and leadership to deliver successful outcomes for clients and communities
Serve as a trusted technical resource, contributing expertise across multiple projects and disciplines
Support the continued growth and advancement of our roadway practice through innovation, technical excellence, and thought leadership
