About The Position
A multi-state design firm is seeking a Roadway Project Manager to join their team in St. Louis. This role involves managing all aspects of roadway design projects, from initial scope development to final delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 8+ years of highway/municipal design experience
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Project management experience including scope, schedule, and budget control
- PE License
- Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Track/monitor project progress to manage financial budget and schedule
- Manage complex contract negotiations
- Assemble/manage project teams
- Serve as primary contact for clients/team
- Manage change requests/implement strategies to minimize negative impacts on the project
- Review work to ensure high-quality work is performed
- Build/maintain client relationships
- Document all project deliverables/maintain project records (correspondence, design plans, and other related files)
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Ensure regulations are followed and enforce safety standards
