The role helps ensure that materials, funding, and information stay accurate and available for maintenance crews.

Requirements

  • One year of experience as a Technical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
  • One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent
  • An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Meet the PA residency requirement
  • Be able to perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

  • Track inventory usage, complete surplus forms, and manage disposal processes
  • Review and update maintenance plans to ensure materials, labor, and funding are balanced
  • Reconcile invoices, resolve vendor issues, and complete non-PO and P-card transactions
  • Process hiring paperwork, schedule testing, update employee records, and track evaluations
  • Maintain filing systems, manage retention schedules, and complete archiving tasks
  • Document public complaints, provide guidance, and serve as the main receptionist
