About The Position

AECOM's Southeast Transportation business line partners with clients to build, modernize, and expand transportation projects. They use extensive knowledge in planning, designing, and managing transportation systems, as well as restoring and replacing aging infrastructure, to help public and private clients find smarter, more advanced ways to move people. The company is looking for all levels of Roadway Engineers and Designers to join their growing team throughout the southern US, with opportunities to work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects.

Requirements

Roadway CAD Designers & Roadway Modelers: BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience
Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience

Nice To Haves

EIT Certification or PE License
State DOT experience

Responsibilities

Design/Build or Alternative Delivery project experience
Experience or interest in complex interstate highway design
Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads
Experience in Roadway Design calculations including Superelevation, Stopping Sight Distance (SSD), Decision Sight Distance (DSD), Acceleration and Deceleration lanes
Experience using the 2018 AASHTO Green Book
