About The Position

Pomp’s Tire Service is hiring a Roadside Commercial Tire Technician to perform repair, inspection, and maintenance work on commercial customer tires in an outdoor environment. The role responds to roadside service calls and supports safe, reliable operation of commercial vehicles. The technician works independently in all weather conditions and may perform additional tasks to support team operations.

The position requires willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision. Regular lifting, carrying, or moving of up to 50 pounds is required, with occasional handling of up to 150 pounds.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment driver’s screening.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Mount, dismount, and replace tires efficiently while on the road.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify additional issues.
• Keep the work environment clean and organized, including maintaining tools and equipment.
• Provide roadside tire service independently in all weather conditions.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
