About The Position

SCR Medical Transportation LLC is seeking a Road Supervisor to oversee the performance and conduct of drivers and operational staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. This role involves monitoring daily operations, addressing operational issues, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including FTA/DOT ADA requirements. The Road Supervisor will also handle customer service, provide training, manage incidents, and participate in the Drug & Alcohol testing process. Key performance indicators include On-Time Performance (OTP), Customer Satisfaction, Safety Records, Staff Development, Compliance, and Road Observations.

Requirements

  • Must have been a Pace certified driver for at least two (2) years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and effectively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new software, such as Trapeze, for scheduling and dispatching.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Trapeze scheduling software.
  • CDL with passenger endorsement preferred.
  • Must maintain Pace certification as a Road Supervisor, including maintaining a valid driver's license and DOT medical card.
  • Additional coursework in Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the performance and conduct of drivers and other operational staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor daily operations, including driver schedules, route efficiency, and service quality. Address and resolve operational issues in real-time.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including FTA/DOT ADA requirements.
  • Address passenger complaints and concerns promptly and effectively. Promote a positive image of Pace Suburban Bus in all interactions.
  • Provide training and guidance to drivers and staff. Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Respond to and manage incidents and emergencies on the road. Prepare and submit detailed incident reports.
  • Participate in the management and enforcement of the Drug & Alcohol testing process, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers, schedulers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
