This role involves the assembly and/or disassembly of MTU and other engines, systems, and components per specification. You will inspect and evaluate components for defects, recommend acceptance or rejection, and test products to validate functionality. The position requires analyzing test results, aligning components, and creating/implementing new processes, fixturing, and tooling. You will also inspect, rework, repair, and replace damaged parts, interpret blueprints and specification manuals, and use measuring instruments. Operating forklifts, cranes, and various mechanical and CNC machinery is also part of the role. Special projects and maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work area are expected.
