About The Position

Dependable Nurses, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a private duty nursing position in the Kingman, Arizona area. We have an immediate need for nurses who can provide consistent coverage 2–3 days per week from 7:00 AM–7:00 PM. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. This is a great opportunity for a nurse looking for 12-hour daytime shifts while providing meaningful, personalized care to one patient at a time in a home setting. Dependable Nurses, Inc., the Phoenix branch of Dependable Health Services, provides compassionate one-on-one skilled nursing care for medically fragile children and young adults in the comfort of their homes. Our nurses provide physician-directed care while developing meaningful relationships with patients and families.

Requirements

• Active Arizona RN or LPN License (or Compact License)
• Valid Arizona Driver's License
• Current BLS Certification (online-only courses not accepted)
• Current TB test or chest X-ray within the past 12 months
• Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Article 9 Training (assistance available)
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled one-on-one nursing care in the patient's home
• Complete patient assessments and follow the individualized plan of care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor the patient's condition and report changes appropriately
• Collaborate with the patient's family and clinical team
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Safely assist with lifting, positioning, and transferring as appropriate
• Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment
