Requirements
- Three (3) years Perioperative Practice experience
- Experience in both scrub and circulating RN roles
- Registered Nurse: CA RN License
- Basic Life Support - CPR BLS
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS
- Certified Nurse Operating Room - CNOR
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS within 6 - months
Nice To Haves
- Previous first assist experience
- Experience as RN and First Assist in CVOR, Ortho, Neuro, General, Robotics, GYN, Advanced Endoscopy, Hybrid procedures and urology highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation and documentation of surgical patients.
- Overall responsibility for the nursing care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes, including supervision of OR Technicians.
- Directly assists surgeon intraoperatively, assists with patient positioning and directing other surgical team members while practicing perioperative nursing.
