About The Position

The RN provides inpatient hospital care, including fetal and maternal monitoring and support during labor and delivery. The nurse manages patient pain, assists physicians with delivery and other procedures, documents and communicates patient conditions, and educates patients and families about labor, pain, and newborn care.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care using fetal and maternal monitoring equipment.
• Manage patient pain, including administration of epidural and patient-controlled analgesia.
• Assist physicians during delivery, treatment, examinations, and surgical procedures.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation systems.
• Provide patient and family education on labor, pain, and newborn care.
