This full-time RN position is located at the Ambulatory Pain Treatment Center @ Sawgrass and involves providing proficient patient care for complex patients. The role includes an expanded charge nurse function, responsibility for new staff orientation, and potentially acting as a care coordinator. The position is Monday-Friday, with four 9-hour shifts, and requires adherence to unit policy for weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience, preferably in acute care, with strong organizational and critical thinking skills for a procedural/infusion area. Responsibilities include pre, intra, and post-procedure care for patients with chronic and acute pain conditions, involving various procedures such as injections, blocks, radiofrequency ablations, and infusions. Patients range from adolescents to advanced age. Excellent IV skills are a plus. Moderate Sedation competency, ACLS, and PEARS are required within the first year. Some telephone triage is also involved. The candidate must possess strong assessment and communication skills, be positive, flexible, and invested in team success.
