About The Position

The RN will work on the MedSurg Staffing Resource Team (SRT), floating among MedSurg units as needed. Travelers will also work ED and PACU borders. Deceased Patient Coordinator (DPC) coverage may be required. Float units include 1 East, 1 West, 2 West, 2&3 East, 3 West, 4 West, 5 West, ED, and PACU.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent equivalent experience.
• Experience with chest tubes, tubes, and drips such as diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone.
• Experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients.
• Experience with tracheostomies and laryngectomies.
• Telemetry experience.
• Experience with complex wounds.
• Experience with central line care, maintenance, and blood draws.
• NH RN License or Compact License; proof of state residency is required for a Compact License.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Nice To Haves

• Previous float experience.
