About The Position
The RN assesses patients before surgery, prepares and maintains the operating room, assists surgeons during procedures, monitors vital signs, evaluates postoperative patients, and ensures chart documentation is complete and compliant with protocols. The role requires adherence to relevant health and safety standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ conditions before surgery.
- Ensure the operating room is prepared with necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Keep the operating room sterilized.
- Pass medical instruments to surgeons during operations.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs.
- Evaluate postoperative patients.
- Review charts for completeness in accordance with documentation protocols before and after surgical procedures.
- Adhere to relevant health and safety standards.
