About The Position

The RN assesses patients before surgery and evaluates patients postoperatively. The role prepares and maintains the Operating Room, assists surgeons during operations, monitors patient vital signs, and ensures charts are complete according to documentation protocols before and after surgical procedures. The RN adheres to relevant health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ conditions before surgery.
• Prepare the Operating Room with necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment.
• Keep the Operating Room sterilized.
• Pass medical instruments to surgeons during operations.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs.
• Evaluate postoperative patients.
• Review charts for completeness in accordance with documentation protocols before and after surgical procedures.
• Adhere to relevant health and safety standards.
