About The Position

DISC Surgery Center is seeking a full-time PreOp/PACU RN at its West Palm Beach, Florida location. The role supports post-anesthesia recovery in an outpatient surgery center focused on spine care, orthopedics, interventional pain management, and sports medicine. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays.

Requirements

• Valid RN license.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications, or ability to obtain them within 90 days of hire.
• Proficiency in airway management and post-anesthesia recovery.
• Two years of experience in acute care, PACU, or ICU.

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-operative patients’ conditions and manage their pain levels.
• Assess patients’ vital signs and airways after surgery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic health records.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
