RN/Acute Care/Part Time Flex
About The Position
The Acute Care Unit at Bonner General Health provides care to a diverse patient population of all ages with a wide variety of healthcare needs, including illnesses and surgical and medical needs. The team is committed to compassionate, excellent, patient-centered care and advocacy. Nurses have the opportunity to spend time with patients, use and develop nursing skills, and work in a friendly, team-oriented environment. The unit works closely with the Intensive Care Unit and occasionally offers opportunities to work and learn there. Experienced nurses and new nurses who are eager to learn and grow are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current State of Idaho RN license.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Nice To Haves
- ACLS and PALS certifications, or obtain them within six months of hire.
- New RN graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients of all ages with diverse healthcare needs, including illnesses and surgical and medical needs.
- Advocate for patients and provide patient-centered care.
- Work collaboratively with the Acute Care Unit team and closely with the Intensive Care Unit.
