About The Position

MultiCare is seeking a staff Registered Nurse to join its hospital-based Interventional Endoscopy team. The nurse will use specialized training, knowledge, and nursing care within a multidisciplinary approach. This is a per-diem position with a 0.0 FTE, requiring 10-hour day shifts and weekend call. The role is based at MultiCare Valley Hospital, a 123-bed, fully accredited acute-care hospital in Spokane Valley with a Level III Trauma Center and comprehensive surgical, inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, and advanced cardiac services.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
Current BLS certification.
ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification, as required by the facility or department.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
Certification in a specialty area.
One year of experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
Use nursing education and experience to deliver care through the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
