Requirements

• Possess a current Nursing license in the state of Montana
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors.
• Must exemplify the Touchmark values of Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity and Compassion
• Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills, as well as a commitment to confidentiality
• Qualities of leadership, responsibility, time management, compassion, and patience.
• Ability to observe resident behavior and communicate such in an intelligent and professional manner.

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years of experience working in geriatric care is preferred
• Enjoy being part of a team, as this person will work closely with a team of nurses and clinical staff

Responsibilities

• Ensuring our residents receive the highest level of dignity and care.
• Being a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members.
• Design and implement care plans for each resident.
• Help oversee the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions.
• Observe resident behavior and communicate such in an intelligent and professional manner.
