About The Position
Registered Nurse role providing long-term care (LTC) nursing services in Cordova, Alaska. The position is on day shifts. Training begins December 3, 2026, and the start date on the floor is December 6, 2026. Housing is provided and paid for by CCMC. Accommodations may be shared or private depending on availability; pets are not allowed. Housing is within a half mile of the hospital and town amenities. Cordova is a small fishing community with hiking trails at the edge of town, a small ski hill with a lift, fishing opportunities, and an active winter community. Daily Alaska Air flights include one flight north and one south. Winters are typically mild, rainy at sea level, and snowier at higher elevations, with usual temperatures in the 20s and 30s and occasional cold snaps into the teens. Streets and sidewalks are generally more icy than snowy, with rain and sleet common in town.
Requirements
- Long-term care (LTC) experience
- Alaska RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
