About The Position

Vivo Healthcare Lakeland is looking to hire full-time/part time, Wound Care Nurse (RN) to work at our skilled nursing facility. This role involves providing wound care to residents, documenting wound status, and rounding with the wound care physician.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing or practical nursing program.
• Must possess and maintain a current Florida license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Must be able to move, lift, and position patients.
• Valid CPR from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Long Term Care experience is highly preferred.
• Wound Care certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all nursing services personnel are following their respective job descriptions.
• Participate in the maintenance and implementation of the Facility’s quality assurance program for the Nursing Services Department.
• Provide wound care to residents and document.
• Round with wound care physician.
• Update wound reports.
