About The Position

Hamilton Grove Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable RN (Registered Nurse) 3-11 & 11-7 Weekend Supervisor to ensure quality and compassionate patient care across all nursing units during the evening shifts (3pm-11pm). The RN Nursing Supervisor will monitor nursing staff performance, ensuring professional and timely execution of duties. This role may also involve acting as a floor nurse to meet staffing needs. The ideal candidate will actively support staff, assist with admissions, and ensure task completion.

Requirements

Must hold an active New Jersey RN license in the state of New Jersey or a compact license allowing the RN to work in the state of New Jersey.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate evening nursing staff, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to schedules.
Supervise and support nursing personnel, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
Monitor and assess resident care, ensuring high-quality and compassionate services.
Collaborate with staff to develop and implement care plans.
Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, address concerns, and ensure compliance with care standards.
Respond to emergencies, making critical decisions and implementing appropriate interventions.
Communicate effectively with families, residents, and staff to maintain open lines of communication.
Collaborate with the facility's leadership team to promote a positive and cohesive work environment.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Participate in quality assurance programs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Address and resolve issues or conflicts among staff members promptly and professionally.
Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and dedication to resident well-being.
