About The Position
Bear Creek Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a seasoned RN leader to step into a Weekend Supervisor role. This is a leadership position, not an entry-level role, ideal for a Registered Nurse who thrives in accountability, enjoys leading teams, and understands the pace and regulatory demands of skilled nursing. As the RN Weekend Supervisor, you are the go-to clinical leader for the building on weekends. You’ll oversee nursing operations, support staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and help keep the facility running smoothly when leadership coverage matters most. This role offers autonomy, leadership visibility, and impact with strong support from weekday leadership.
Requirements
- Active RN license (required)
- Prior skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience (required)
- Previous supervisory or management experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of SNF regulatory compliance and survey readiness
- Proven understanding of nursing labor management and staffing
- Demonstrated leadership presence, decision-making, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational oversight during weekend shifts
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care
- Ensure compliance with state and federal SNF regulations
- Manage staffing needs, assignments, and nursing labor efficiently
- Serve as the primary nursing leader and escalation point on weekends
- Monitor clinical issues, address concerns, and support survey readiness
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain continuity of care and operations
