We are searching for a talented RN-Vascular Access to join our team.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Nice To Haves

Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) and Midline catheter intravenous insertion trained and skill certification with 3CG technology preferred.
Ultrasound Guided IV insertion skill and certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Director or Manager, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating nursing care related to intravenous therapies for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within the Vascular Access Department.
Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.
Responsible and accountable for providing for placement of vascular access devices within inpatient and outpatient hospital setting.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of the anatomy, especially the anatomy of the cardiovascular area.
