About The Position
South Haven Nursing & Rehab is seeking a Full Time Unit Manager (RN) to join their team. This role involves planning, organizing, and directing nursing services for all licensed units, assessing and providing direct care to residents, administering medications, and supervising nursing assistants. The ideal candidate will have a passion for caring for residents and a positive attitude.
Requirements
- At least three (3) years of successful nursing experience in a long-term care environment; most of which should be in a management role.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Ability to Administer Medication and IV certification.
- Good Working knowledge of State Rules/Regulations.
- Managerial Experience in a Skilled Nursing Setting.

Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, staff, administer and direct a broad program of nursing services for all licensed units, under director of DON.
- Assess, evaluate, and provide direct care/related services for residents in accordance with their care plan.
- Administer medications and complete treatments based on residents' needs.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants.
