About The Position

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Telehealth Transfer RNs are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. St. Luke’s Virtual Care Center is in the heart of downtown Boise, surrounded by skiable mountains and raftable rivers. St. Luke’s Telehealth Transfer team is responsible for supporting patient care to a higher level of care by connecting providers for consults, transfers, admissions, and placement of patients. Requirements

Associate degree in Nursing required
3+ year RN Experience
acute care highly preferred
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred

Responsibilities

Supporting patient care to a higher level of care by connecting providers for consults, transfers, admissions, and placement of patients.
Has the authority to enact decisions on an immediate basis that promotes best patient care.
Ensuring connection of providers to the appropriate location with required physician specialties.
Teamwork, communication, and phone etiquette are key pieces for success in this department.
Adept typing skills required.
