About The Position

This is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a telephonic role. The primary responsibility is to provide telephonic education to patients and caregivers, following clinical protocols and working within the nursing scope of practice and guidelines. The role involves assessing and documenting clinical data and interventions, coaching patients to improve their overall well-being, and collaborating with the patient's treating physician regarding new symptoms and health-related matters. The position also includes aiding clinical departments with new hire training and mentoring, and conducting peer-to-peer quality documentation checks. The company emphasizes a supportive ecosystem for its nurses. Training for the first 6 weeks will have varied hours and may start between 8 am-11:30 am EST, depending on the week. The regular shift for this role is 10:30 am to 7:00 pm CST, Monday through Friday. The company has a tobacco-free policy and may not hire tobacco/nicotine users in certain states.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) compact license required.
  • Must reside in a compact state.
  • 2 years or more of relevant experience with an RN License.
  • Active unencumbered license in the state that they reside.
  • Completed the NCLEX or a recognized state board exam.
  • Ability to apply for additional single state licenses without restrictions.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft applications.
  • Minimum Internet speed: 5MBPS upload/2 MBPS download - Cable broadband or Fiber Optic.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • Must have taken Microbiology in order to obtain California licensure.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience in the areas of Neurology / Multiple sclerosis, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Asthma, Oncology, or Pediatrics.
