About The Position

This is a half-time, night shift position for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry. The role involves initiating and delivering nursing care to adult geriatric patients, utilizing the nursing process to identify, demonstrate, and evaluate appropriate nursing interventions. Key responsibilities include interpreting cardiac arrhythmias, administering prescribed therapies, and caring for patients requiring observation post cardiac monitoring. The nurse will also demonstrate proficiency in using equipment specific to Critical Care Services.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Valid NJ RN License required.
• BLS -AHA (required).
• 0-1 relevant work experience required.

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• 2-4 years of relevant experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Initiate and deliver nursing care to adult geriatric patients.
• Identify, demonstrate and evaluate appropriate nursing interventions utilizing the nursing process.
• Interpret cardiac arrhythmias and administer appropriate therapy as ordered by the physician.
• Care of the patient requiring observation post cardiac monitoring and possible treatment of arrhythmias.
• Demonstrate ability to use equipment specific to the Critical Care Services.
