Requirements
- Current, active, and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- At least 1 year experience and knowledge as an RN in Telemetry.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing clinical environment
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and specialized medical-surgical care.
- Assessment, planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of individualized patient care for those experiencing cardiac disease, heart failure, dysrhythmias, and other acute conditions.
- Utilizing advanced clinical judgment to recognize changes in patient status, manage fixed-rate intravenous drips, interpret cardiac rhythms, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
