About The Position
Provide nursing care for patients in the Telemetry unit, focusing on surgical, neuro, orthopedic, and general medical conditions.
Requirements
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience reading tele strips and caring for surgical and neuro patients.
- Familiarity with the Cerner charting system recommended.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and sign tele strips once per shift.
- Manage patients with diagnoses including COVID, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, TIA, and CVA.
- Care for surgical patients, including those undergoing orthopedic and spinal procedures.
