About The Position
This position involves providing specialized nursing care for patients in a telemetry unit. The role requires monitoring patient vital signs using telemetry equipment, administering medications including Cardiac Drips, and caring for patients post cardiac procedures. The nurse will also initiate and manage Tikosyn/Sotalol therapy and may be required to float to all acute care units. The schedule includes working every other weekend, based on unit needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience required.
- Must have experience with TR Bands, Cardiac Drips, and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation.
- Possess a valid KS RN license and BLS & ACLS certifications.
- Comply with credentialing and orientation requirements as specified.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
Responsibilities
