About The Position
This is a 36-hour night shift position for a Telemetry Registered Nurse on the Phippen 6/7 unit. Phippen 6/7 is a 32-bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg unit that also admits other medical overflows. The nurse must be able to read telemetry strips. Travelers are required to float to applicable units when requested. Day rotators may be rotated between 7a-7p, 11a-11p, or 7p-7a shifts when needed, but night positions do not rotate. The patient population includes scheduled elective Orthopedic and Neuro/Surg patients, fractures, neuro patients, and all other medical overflow patients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years working in one location.
- Minimum of 2 years working as a Traveler.
- Med/Surg RN with neuro assessment skills.
- Telemetry competency.
- Ability to interpret Tele Strips.
- Current Massachusetts RN License.
- AHA BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification.
