About The Position

This is a 36-hour per week night shift position on the Pingree 5 Medical Telemetry unit, which is a new 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit. The clinician to patient ratio is 4 to 5 patients per 1 RN. The patient population consists of adult medical patients. The unit typically operates at full census (24 patients).

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in one location.
• 2 years of experience working as a Traveler.
• Ability to read cardiac telemetry strips.
• Active Massachusetts RN License.
• AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Read cardiac telemetry strips.
• Provide care for adult medical patients on a telemetry unit.
• Rotate shifts as needed to cover open night shifts.
• Float to other units as required.
