About The Position

The Internal Staffing Team Registered Nurse assesses human responses and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families for whom the nurse is responsible. The Internal Staffing Team Registered Nurse is fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered. The AHN Internal Staffing Team (IST) is expanding its reach to support our Northwestern Pennsylvania hospitals. We are actively recruiting skilled inpatient travel team members to primarily serve AHN Wexford, Grove City and St. Vincent Hospital. While the primary focus is on these locations, there may be future opportunities to travel to our Pittsburgh metropolitan hospitals as needs arise. The Inpatient Team includes Registered Nurses that will work on one of the following 3 clinical teams in one of the three specific clinical teams, including: Critical Care, Telemetry/Med Surg, Emergency Medicine. Additionally, members of the Inpatient IST will be paid a premium rate of $65/hr.

Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
CPR – American Heart Association
Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).

Assesses patient reports/records change of condition and notifies physician and/or supervisor and intervenes appropriately and documents accordingly.
