About The Position
The Tele Float Pool RN will provide nursing care across multiple units within Zone 3, which includes OrthoColorado Hospital, Longmont United Hospital, St. Anthony Hospital, and St. Anthony North Hospital. This role requires floating and flexibility to work within various specialties including general medical-surgical telemetry, cardiac, neuro, and more.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years MS-Tele experience; neuro experience preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to adapt and function across ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele units as needed.
Responsibilities
- Care for adult and geriatric patient populations in varied specialties.
- Monitor and titrate Heparin drips, along with set rate drips.
- Collaborate with charge nurses, who do not typically take patient assignments unless necessary.
- Participate in a weekend rotation, requiring 6-9 weekend shifts every 6 weeks.
- Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation.
