About The Position

This is a Full time, benefited OR RN role at Scripps Green in Torrey Pines La Jolla. Hours are with an alternate work schedule consisting of 0645-1715 and 0645-1730 and on call responsibilities. There is a bonus of $4K and a relocation incentive $3K to eligible new hires. The Scripps Green Hospital Surgery Team operates in 12 OR suites and sees 900 cases a month. The ideal candidate will have 1 or more years of OR experience in various specialties and will work in a busy, fast-paced environment requiring teamwork to provide the highest level of patient care.

Requirements

One year of recent RN experience in the Operating Room (Circulating)
California Registered Nurse License
Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing

Nice To Haves

2 + years surgery experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Preferred circulating experience with ortho, vascular, endovascular, general, ENT, urology, robotics and spine

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.
Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
