About The Position
The Brothers of Mercy is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to support our dedicated team of nurses and CNAs. This role is more than shift oversight—it’s an opportunity to build leadership skills, manage real-time clinical challenges, and grow into future management roles.
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- A commitment to mentoring others and delivering exceptional care
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- At least 1 year of critical care experience
Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations during your assigned shift
- Support and guide LPNs and CNAs, building a strong, capable team
- Respond to and manage complex clinical situations with confidence
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Serve as the go-to clinical leader when challenges arise
