About The Position

Roman Eagle Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead their nursing team and help ensure exceptional care for their residents. This role involves mentoring staff, delivering clinical excellence, and making a meaningful difference every day.

Requirements

• Current Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• At least one year of nursing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to lead with confidence and compassion.

Nice To Haves

• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support nursing staff during your assigned shift, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care that meets clinical and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate staffing assignments and maintain appropriate nursing coverage.
• Monitor resident conditions and facilitate timely communication with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, care planning, chart audits, and incident investigations.
• Coach, mentor, and develop nursing staff through orientation, training, and performance management.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives that enhance resident outcomes.
• Serve as the nursing leader on duty in the absence of nursing administration.
