The Registered Nurse Supervisor is responsible for providing direct patient care and clinical leadership within an outpatient Oncology-Hematology physician office and infusion center. This position oversees the daily operations of the infusion center, ensures the safe and effective delivery of oncology and hematology treatments, supervises nursing and clinical personnel, and promotes high-quality, patient-centered care. The Registered Nurse Supervisor will perform and oversee medication administration, chemotherapy and other therapeutic infusions, medication preparation, patient assessment and monitoring, clinical documentation, and coordination of patient care. The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining efficient infusion room operations while ensuring compliance with physician orders, organizational policies, regulatory requirements, medication safety standards, and applicable oncology nursing standards. This position requires strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the healthcare team.
